somerset food links
Sue Miller started and chairs this organisation. A social enterprise that promotes and links local food to local people and tourists. Based in Langport it works throughout Somerset and parts of Devon.Recent work has included organising food festivals, work with producers in special landscapes such as Exmoor and the Somerset Levels, food coops, work in schools both on piloting quality school dinners and educational iniatives.
tarka foundation
The Tarka Foundation develops and manages projects that benefit the community, principally in North Devon. Its profits are reinvested for the benefit of the community. It is a young organisation which started in 2002 and has already helped hundreds of voluntary groups and rural enterprises in the South West. Sue Miller has recently joined the Board.
